Waterford Chess Club

Waterford chess club welcomes all chess players, new and old, to our community. We are located at the Three Shippes Pub and meet there every Tuesday night at 7pm. With no particular structure, players are free to participate in regular chess games, analysis, discussion as well as chess variants such as King of the hill and team chess (2v2) – all boards, pieces and clocks are provided.

Our members include people with fide ratings from <1,000 up as far as >2,000 as well as some unrated players. This assures every member has a competitive game. Drop in any week or email us at waterfordchess@hotmail.com for further details. Currently we do not have an annual or weekly fee. We hope to see new faces and talent in the near future.
